Annual CHILDREN'S Festival "tHE World of Dance" - June 12-13 & jUNE 23, 2013

Each year, Brighton Ballet Theater holds its Annual Children's Festival "The World of Dance". Anticipated by thousands of people, "The World of Dance” Festival presents the achievements of BBT's dedicated dancers of all ages, in full stage productions with stunning scenery and distinctive costumes. The season finale provides children trained by instructors from the best dance companies an opportunity to dance with world-class dancers on a professional stage. Enjoyed by a thriving and supportive New York cultural community, Children's Festival "The World of Dance" is a special event for BBT students to share with friends, family and dance enthusiasts.

"The World of Dance" Festival features a premier of an original full-length ballet and an array of dance pieces performed by over 300 students. The festival, which is seen by many people each year and includes dance pieces from a wide range of national cultures, is a celebration of the diversity and artistic talent in the New York community.

In addition to featuring professional dancers from some of the leading dance companies, the festival highlights the achievements of BBT's young dancers.
BBT places a major emphasis on creating live stage performance opportunities for its students, and provides an enriching experience as they dance alongside professional dancers.
