BBT's Open Division: “DANCE just for a FUN of it!”
This division includes Modern and Popular Dance, Ballet Exercise, Latin Dance, Ballroom Dance, Hip-Hop, Fitness Program for Boys and Dance Program for Teen & Adults. Classes in this division give students a total body workout strengthening their muscles and improving coordination of movement. Among other benefits that these classes provide are improved self-confidence, positive body image, eased adolescence transition, more active life style, and keeping your children of the street. Jazz Dance | This upbeat class introduces young
dancers to jazz fundamentals and uses age-appropriate music and movements.
Students will learn basic rhythm as well as song-and-dance numbers, acting, and
how to express emotion and portray a character through movement and facial
expression. The style of jazz may vary upon the instructor or the mood of the
combinations (funk, theatrical, lyrical, etc.).
Hip Hop is becoming one of today’s highly
requested dances, this urban dance style that teaches rhythm, musicality,
coordination, and age-appropriate hip hop choreography. This is an excellent
class for high-energy kids who like to move.
Contemporary dance borrows from jazz, ballet, funk, social dance styles and many modern dance styles of the 20th century.
