Take Live Online Dance Classes with BBT's Teachers in April!

Join us for our Live Online Dance Classes and learn from the comfort of your own home!

BBT's educational, fun, and, comprehensive online dance program is designed to help students of all ages and levels to build confidence and learn to dance at their own pace. Students will work collaboratively with a teacher to perform a variety of directed movements, students will perform dance “actions” in order to gain a sense of movement, timing, rhythm, musicality and an understanding of how to use space. The BBT dance instructor’s main role is to provide a framework and a vocabulary for the students.

We believe the virtual classes will help our students regain a sense of normalcy and community as they can see that their teachers and fellow students are not only healthy and happy but also participating with them in real-time dance lessons. We also believe that a return to regularly scheduled activities, even via virtual classes, will be a calming influence for students who may have become anxious with all the many unexpected disruptions in their lives. Teachers will review previous work and practice familiar routines with students. They will even be able to start preparations for the next performance in the virtual classes.

Starting Tuesday, March 23rd to attend an online session, you need to fill out a small no-fee registration application on our website simply to track who is interested in each class. The class size is limited to 10 students.

After the registration, you will receive the link(s) and instructions on how to join the group(s).

Online classes tuition* will cost only $10-$15 per class: Online classes tuition* will cost only $10-$15 per class:

$15 per single session
$10 for bundles with 2 and more classes.
* If you have existing credit with BBT, you can use that credit to pay for classes.

Instructions:

To join a ZOOM meeting, first, you need to download ZOOM App on your computer/phone and then follow these steps:

1. Create a ZOOM account
2. Complete a small no-fee registration form => https://www.bbtballet.org/online-classes-application
3. After the registration and tuition payment, you will receive the Meeting ID(s) to join the group(s).
4. Click "JOIN" at scheduled day and time.
5. Enter Meeting ID for the class and you will be connected to the video.
